Only one I remember seeing is this one:

The bow and stern views aren't all that good, though, and it's definitely not aridas' original work.

I drew that on Commission for the Starfleet chapter USS Malverne. Those Drawings are low rez versions of the Autocad files. The Malverne is based on the Ariel Class. I spent many an hourlooking at the Ariel Class top and side view and tried to work
out what The front and back would look like this was my interpretation.

I wish I hadn't lost the Ariel I'd been making (lesson learned - BACK UP THINGS! This was before I'd done the Vega or the 1701, by the way... my first effort at a Trek ship in 3D, in fact!)

But the fore and aft view from my model were not really all that similar to what you've got there. The aft face of the "carrier hull" was much more... "artfully?"... curved. It's a nice effort, but I'm not sold that your fore/aft projections match the other views quite as well as they should.
Also, the "neck" is very distinct in yours, but it was always intended to be a curved transition from the "neck" into the body, not a sharp definition. Sort of the inverse of what the 1701-D does going from it's neck into the primary hull.
I'm thinking I may try to recreate the Ariel... maybe it's time!

Looking back on what I posted, I realize it came out more snide than I really intended. The bow and stern views didn't seem to come up to the level of detail of the other views. My own fault for not realizing that it was a low-rez scan. I do appreciate the amount of work it took, though. When I got a copy of the Development Chart back in the 80s, I tried to work out a bow view, and it didn't take me long to realize I was in way over my head.

Yes, many thanks, Bernard, for your valiant attempts at fore/aft views for an Ariel-style vessel. That could not have been easy.
I like it fine--it would be nice to see other variations. You really could go a number of different ways. One could omit the dish altogether, and have the dorsal come to a point up front. Or you could have a recessed dish excelsior style with the lower section of the dorsal actually being a half-tube as seen from the side as you have done--both of which would have exactly the same side view.
Until your new thread is started, maybe I can help pull this one back on course. Here's the shirt the folks at USS Kepler made from the model I built:
I tried to straighten it out as much as possible but age and fabric shrinkage has somewhat distorted the embroidery. But you get the gist of it...

This would have been great, except that the install will only run on a 16-bit (!) system... *sigh*

Hey Scott, I found a way and already did the conversion for 3ds max. 
The Carrara´s demo can open the infini-d file and export it to 3ds and obj. Max can import both.
Therefore, the mesh is a low polly. Not a demerit for Gerbirth´s work, this is just how Infini works at that time i believe. My plan is to use the mesh as a base for a high polly version. The problem is I don´t have enough freetime at the moment. If you´re interested, I can send you the max (studio max 9) file, or the exported file. Just drop me a line.

Lightwave can import the obj, but gimme one or two days, and I´ll see if can provide you the lwo file itself.
