I retain a lot of affection for Mack based on Smallville, and a recent rewatch confirmed just how terrific and talented she was on the show. Her crimes, of course, were hair-raising and heinous, but I do feel she was probably a victim of Raniere's indoctrination as well. Now that she's "paid her debt to society," as they say, I hope she can rebuild something of her life (though I doubt she'll ever be fully rehabilitated in the public eye).

You know, if any of us Joe Public did what she did, we'd be sent to the furthest dark corners of Federal Pound Me in the Ass prison for a long time.
