Remembrance of Things Past (problem)

I have a problem I wonder if anyone can help with. I was looking for [i[Remembrance of Things Past Book One[/i] on Simonsays.com. I finally found it via the link from this forum. Searching the site came up with zilch.

Book Two has been released. Why isn't Book One released?

When I search for Terri Osborn on simonsays.com I only get 4 results instead of the 6 results I get searching BooksOnBoard.com. What gives?

I was searching the Star Trek books on Simonsays.com and found them to be a right mess overall.

It might be that you're misspelling her last name; it has an "e" at the end: Osborne

I have no idea why SimonSays isn't offering Book 1 and unfortunately by asking on the Wednesday of Thanksgiving week, you guarantee that you won't get an answer until Monday at the earliest. *sigh*

I will, however, try to find out what the hell's going on next week....

In the meantime, it's available at Fictionwise, Powell's, Mobipocket, and eReader.

(And BTW, Book 1 is at #25 on eReader's best-seller list; Book 2 is at #5. Woo!)

I bought it from them, so they did have it available at one point. Maybe somebody flipped the wrong switch.

I was also confounded by this problem a week or more ago at SS. I may have to go to one of KRAD's options, although going elsewhere almost seems sacriligeous. I guess it would have to be Powell's for me since that seems to be the only one that offers the Adobe format.

That was just a forum typo. I spelled Terri's name correctly when doing a search for the book. I was thinking of catching up with the CoE series so when I finish SCE, I can just keep going. But then I ran into the problem.

Also BooksOnBoard has Book One available in Adobe, eReader, Mobipocket, and MS Reader for $3.99. Cheaper then any of the others I think. Simonsays.com has Book Two at the cheapest price.

There's another site problem at simonsays.com. I'm looking into the ebook edition of Sky's the Limit. It shows that it is available as an ebook. But when I go to click on the book or the format I want, it doesn't work. Is this evidence of major issues with the site?

P.S. I just tried to look at Remembrance of Things Past Book Two and a few other ebooks and none come up properly.

I noticed this afternoon that <i>Slings and Arrows</i> books 1 & 2 were no longer available on simonsays, either. The gremlins, it seems, are taking advantage of the tryptaphane-overdosed webmasters this weekend.

I do hope that they get the website fixed like now. I wanted to purchase some books today. The prices on all the other sites for Star Trek ebooks is more expensive.
