Remastered Season 3 DVD Query

Can I just check... After the plastic clamshell release, was the remastered version released on a slimline DVD in the US?

Specifically season 3 having a red uniform with emblem as its cover?

I specifically need a remastered season 3 Region 1 for something and just wanted to confirm that version has the remastered episodes?

Many thanks in advance!

In Region 1, the TOS-R release used a clamshell format as well, to match up with the HD-DVD release. As far as i am aware, there have been no reissues aside from the 2015 Full Series release with the Enterprise warping into the insignia and the red/yellow/blue behind it.

For The Warlord, what I think you are thinking of is the Blu-Ray release for Season 3 from 2009.

I remember seeing them in stores. They are likely just a represssing of the first remastered DVD release.

I wouldn’t even call them a repressing. It was probably the same line with just the box changed. (Actually, according to Amazon.ca it looks like the original 2007-2009 are still available from CBS in the clear packs and the uniform ones are showing up as both imports and non-imports).

Cheers, sorry for bumping the thread. Usually Memory Alpha has the details, but I couldn't see anything on this particular release.

This arrived in the post today. It actually looks very nice. The artwork is stylish, including a phaser design. The discs may or may not be re-pressings, but they are fully labelled, as opposed to the tiny detail we had on the clamshell release. The box comes in a nice slipcase.
