Relatively cheap/customizable laptops

Hey guys.
I could use some assistance.
After some painful searching through google and all, I came up with a small problem.
I will probably be going to UK soon for an extended period of time (possibly for good), and I will need to buy myself a new laptop.

Now ... I really don't need any suggestions on which specs the laptop should have because I already have that sorted out:
15.4" or 17.0" display, Core2Duo T8100, 4 Gb Ram, 8600M GT, 160 GB HDD/7600 RPM (just to name a few and give you an idea on how it would be).

What I need are links to companies in UK that sell laptops which can be customized online with similar/same specs up to £700 (and to have the thing delivered without an OS of any kind as I don't want Vista on my computer or the companies installing the OS ... but if absolutely necessary I will format the HDD and install XP SP3 a new).

I stumbled upon a company called Sager which sells gaming laptops that have higher specs than the ones I listed (more in the cpu and hdd range) under a lower price, but they are located in US, and UK to my knowledge doesn't have them for sale.

DELL became somewhat expensive in the laptop regard lately (I don't know whether it's because of the summer or whatnot).
And while I'm still holding it as an affordable option, (just over £700), I could definitely benefit from finding something with a lower price if possible.
The brand name/design/similar stupidities are not of overly large consequence to me.
What matters are the affordable price/quality ratio for the listed specs.

So, what other companies in UK apart from Dell and Alienware offer customizable options for laptops at an affordable price up to £700?

I don't know about the UK, but there are a few companies around like PowerNotebooks.com that sell laptops without an OS. They sell models, like Sagers for example, that are built for the non-branded market. They are often the same computers you get with a brand name, only dressed up differently. My previous laptop was one that PowerNotebooks sold as the PowerPro C3:16. It was built by a company called Quanta and Acer sold it as the TravelMate 800 (with a different keyboard). If you look around you could probably find some place in the UK with a similar business model. If not, you should be able to get one from a US retailer and then replace the cord to match the outlets in the UK. Most laptop power supplies are autoswitching and can accept a wide range of input voltage.
