Rehabilitation of Michael Burnham

Garak234

Lieutenant Commander
Red Shirt
While the judge in episode 2 of season 1 stated definitively that Michael Burnham will not be rehabilitated, the results of Michael Burnham‘s experiance on Discovery speak for themselves, by season 3 any further reservations Michael Burnham has about UFP ideology in episode 1 are comple disapaited, Michael Burnham’s emotional repression is terminated. All the interactions of Discovery seem to have rehabilitative aspects, for example Michael Burnham In season 1 happene to come across her Father’s disapproval, her independent nature, trauma from the Klingons, social introversion, all in one season. Season 2 deals with Michael Burnham’s sense of responsibility for anything that happens, relation with siblings. All these were factors in some form during Michae Burnham’s mutiny. While the focus of the crew on those issues may be a coincidence as are the changes in Michael Burnham’s personality. Are these Starfleet focuses to connected to the mutiny to be a mere coincidence?

I think it's what they call Trek writing out stuff that didn't work from season 1 like Geordie being a navigator and TNG having an anonymous chief engineer or Riker and Troi being able to speak telepathically
