I posted on and off toward the end of last year, but I haven't been seriously reading since last summer. Just looking for a quick cliffs-notes update about what's changed since then.

Someone told me there was a software switch or something? Like it's now more blog-style?
We've had many interesting discussions in the past year or so. My all-time favorites were the "Confession" thread done by Holdfast and the "Crush" thread, spawned by the Confessions thread. I think the attention-whoring has been kept to a minimum, but there have been several issues with the mods not liking certain types of posts.

Not that I've noticed.
Yeah, I was wondering what the hell happened. All I heard was that the whole issue with Plecostomus was resolved/discussed in TNZ, which I don't have access to.
Not much has changed really. More of the regular posters from days gone by seem to have dropped off the radar (I can't think of anyone specifically at the moment but there has just been a feeling that there are more new people around). There have been some annoying duals and ensigns who like to cause trouble, but mostly things have been the same as always. Of course I'm still around and posting about as much as I always have (I've been here almost 6 years now!). There have been many complaints of awful ads, finally compelling me to get a premium membership. The Ugo logo has changed.
Oh! The big change was the rearranging of several forums, as you will notice on the front page. The categories have different names and there was much debate on how things should be organized.
Less relationship threads, more threads about job loss and health issues. Sad times!
I have missed you though. As I was reading several threads throughout the past months I found myself wondering how you would have responded!
I would normally say something witty at this point but as you can tell from my recent threads I have been exhaustingly busy lately and right now I am tired of using my brain for any sort of critical thought. Or non critical for that matter.

Things have been going well. I try to keep a low profile as usual and have learned to take things with a grain of salt.
Glad to see some familiar faces (or names) back again. 
I think RedFenix pops in from time to time, too.c
