Red Worm and Renderer

I've been in the midst of doing an update to the SSDB and two of the new additions are a couple of ships I've wanted to do for a long time - the Red Worm and Renderer battleships. These two vessels appeared in the Peter Pan Records comic book "A Mirror for Futility" and I was always fascinated by them. They're somewhat simplistic in design by today's standards but they have some interesting design elements. I had some challenges in getting something to look right in three views, as the originals were hand drawn and were wildly inconsistent at various angles. So what is shown here is my "best guess" at what these ships look like. Enjoy!

Those are Brilliant! I've got a ship similar the first one, but yours is stellar. Awesome work mate.

Funny how the Renderer actually has a nice profile from the dorsal and fore, but looks like an ugly kludge of parts from the side.

Also funny how she has a piddly little pair of what I assume are warp nacelles to drive her along.

I'm guessing that most of the offensive weapons on the Red Worm are in those pods in front of the bow. With that large pair of scales on the back, that would probably be the best place to give them a good, clear weapons arc.
