There's a fuller length version which has Kryten getting a cold shiver down his back (because Lister was so scared he spilt his lager on him) but in true Lister spirit I'm too lazy to find it online (saw it on Dave earlier).

Bob, I'm sure you're happy about the return of the skutters. They've been missing since S8 I think. The wikia says they were in BTE, but I don't remember that appearance.

Will we see Bob and Marge or Pinky and smegging Perky?

Probably easier than explaining him completely changing once and having several major changes over the years.

He might have interchangeable heads like Worzel Gummidge not to mention other bits as well for doing the curtains etc. I doubt there are an infinite number of vacuum cleaner bags available so perhaps he's built like a Dyson rather than a Hoover.

Kryten having multiple spare heads is established canon and the basis of several gags over the years, although there was a story where almost all of them blew up, so I'm not sure how many he might have left.

All his heads blew up in Beyond A Joke. I don't remember right now how many they got from the Simulant ship.

Bob, that first one could only look different since it was a different actor. I'd be interested to hear why Kryten's overall look keeps changing. He didn't have handles on his shoulders during most of the initial run, then he had them later, now they're even more obvious.

I know this is a post from the past but having rewatched all of Dwarf recently ready for next week (or tomorrow night)'s return, I realised where the skutters show up in BTE.

Rimmer is attempting to hang up a plaque on the wall. There's a pre accident series 1 Rimmer photo in the dead centre of the frame. The very obviously CGI skutter is using a spirit level. You can hear an electronic voice saying 'Level level level'. Something then happens and suddenly the picture is a mess in the frame. The skutter turns around to Rimmer clearly amused and the electronic voice is now saying 'Not level'.

^ Thanks. I remember that now. Strange, since Rimmer was a hardlight hologram by this point.
