Hey!

Watching Dave earlier, and a VERY short Kryten Viral add popped up with a link to a website. Thanks to the Wonder of a V+ box, i could rewind and pause it.

That site links to many others which eventually (after filling out forms and stuff) gives a rather lengthy preview of the show.

Never fear, Ive screenrecorded a fair bit of the preview and it will be making its way to YouTube in the very near future.

I cant believe its back! :D

Cool. Very, very cool. Even Rimmer looks like his old self here--was the gray hair and such make-up of some sort that forms a plot-point in the episode, I wonder?

Can't believe this is happening. Hope it makes its way to the states sooner rather than later. :techman:
 
Damnit, I can't wait, but since I don't live in the UK, I'll have to find it online someplace ... not legally. Shame.

I hope this is good. The kind of good I had hoped the new Indiana Jones movie would be, but wasn't after all that time.
 
Cool, thanks for the video link without having to fill in those forms. But Dac, I'd just like to point out that that avatar is a helluva spoiler for anywhere else in the world.

I guess Rimmer from the last episode died then, as this one seems to be a hologram.

I know, I think it looks good, which is why I don't want to raise my expectations too high. Then again, it's probably been too high since those first pictures showed up.

There's some other speculation that these new episodes take place in an alternate timeline that splintered off from the end of "Out of Time." (Hell, it's not entirely inconceivable that they could retcon all of Series VII & VIII as being in some giant unreality pocket.)
 
Nah, I think thats too much of a cop out. But they could be trying to parody the new Star Trek, they've done a lot of parodys before.
