Please don't waste your money on one of those sets. They pop up all the time from companies that are selling illegal and very bad quality bootlegs. Save your money up and buy a set on Amazon (from amazon directly and not one of the sellers) OR buy the old box sets on ebay. That's how i got my son a set but only after buying one of those bootleg sets. It sucked and wouldn't play properly. Thankfully the seller (who was on ebay) fully refunded my money. If you just buy one of those on the net you'll get ripped off. Of that i have no doubt!

I prefer them to Amazon itself. Better prices and quicker shipping.
And ebay is a good place to look too, and if there's a problem PayPal can get you a refund pretty fast.

Agreed about Amazon's third party sellers. For the most part, they've been great, I only had one problem, and that person no longer sells on Amazon, after me, and about 100 other people filed complaints about his lies. This person emailed me and begged, yes, BEGGED me to leave positive feedback less than 2 hours after I ordered from them, claiming that he was in poverty and my positive rating would help his business.
The irony was, no only did I get my money back, but I bought the item that person screwed me over on from one of the others who filed a complaint on him. AND for 5 dollars less.
Amazon itself hasn't given me a problem either. Their shipping though is where I disagree with you. That's faster. At least it has been for me.
