That's ... not ... bad.
And you want to copy Lamborghini.
Ya, not feeling the Lamborean either there...
I did find this concept someone did online, and while its not exactly what I would want to see, I think it captures the spirit of the DMC-12 more then any other others shown here.

Data Holmes said:So, anyone remember when that DeLorean nut restarted the DeLorean Motor Company in Texas with the mission of providing a one stop shop for maintenance for the existing DeLorean DMC-12, who then went on to use his warehouse full of all the OEM DeLorean parts to start build "new build" DMC-12's.
Well, seems like he's looking to expand his business a little further out of the extreme niche it's been... with the new DMC Solstice...
It appears that the DeLorean Motor Company is looking to buy the solstice design and manufacturing plant from GM: http://www.houseofboyd.com/archives/227
They even have a very early concept pic up and are inquiring about potential dealers.

That's a pretty good trick on John DeLorean's part---man's been dead for years.
I just saw on tv that a DeLorean (the car, that is) in good shape would cost around $25,000. Didn't matter if you bought it fixed or fixed it up. It'd total that. BUT, if you put in NEW parts (engine, I guess), it'd be about $40,000.
If I won millions in the lottery, I might be interested.
Yeah. It's a stainless steel Lamborghini with the DeLorean driver side window and original 80's head lamps.

John Delorean died in 2005, he gave this guy permission to use the name back in95 with full permission and blessing, thus it became the texas based DMC, which is the one this thread is talking about.
It's a kitbash.Yeah. It's a stainless steel Lamborghini with the DeLorean driver side window and original 80's head lamps.
It's called "Retro."
