Reaper lives?!?!

Temis the Vorta

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
Somebody must have sold their soul to the Devil for THIS deal...

Thought "Reaper" was dead?

Well, think again. Like some of the undead creatures on it, the quirky CW dramedy with a rabid fan base is refusing to die.

Sources said show producer ABC Studios is in talks with CW affiliate stations about continuing "Reaper" as a syndicated series for Sunday night.

The law-rated "Reaper" has been pretty much canceled at the CW. But most stations are said to love the series starring Brett Harrison as the Devil's bounty hunter.

So when the network recently decided to give Sunday night back to its affiliates, they started preliminary conversations with ABC Studios about possibly continuing the show with original episodes.

I'd rather the show just go out with a bang on the CW then get reincarnated for syndication with (probably) some significant cast changes. Especially since Tyler Labine is on a fox show next year, no Sock would be awful

Doesn't matter, the show creators have left the show, and Sock I read is in another show that has been picked up, so he is gone too.

I would only be happy to see this show continue if the entire main cast is kept intact. If they do then this is awesome news!

FOX? Is it a sci-fi show? He'll be out of work again soon (actually, haven't ALL of his shows been canceled rather quickly? I think Reaper is his longest job ever).

Eh, I've gotten so I just watch Sam & Satan anyway. And the stuff with Morgan has been hilarious. I think they could give up Sock and evolve the show in new directions. How about taking the opportunity to get Sam out of the Work Bench? Lose all his little friends and really go for the notion that Satan thinks he can transform Sam into the antichrist - how counterintuitive is that? Could be hysterical.

But Sock dying?

That could be so cool.

What they could do to him.

What karma should do to him.

Sock is a HORRIBLE human being who has to be going to hell.

Can you imagine a final few episodes where the devil is forcing Sam to Hunt Sock?

If you're going to lose the cast every one wants, reather than bring in new shitty characters, just bring back Josie. I was thinking the other day that the reason her character probably left was that she finally concluded that these work bench people were complete losers who were dragging her down and killing her softly.

Unless there's a ghuge adventure we never saw where she gets involved and owned by demons?

I have often thought that Sock is also the devil.

Well, I do love the show, but no Sock? Still, he really is a rat-bastard, but a damned (no pun intended) funny one. Yes, losing Sock would change the show, but they could kill him off, or make him turn out to be Satan's "best buddy," instead.

They could make it work.

It's almost certainly a goner. Fox today announced it picked up Tyler Lanine's new series for Fall on fox.

Oh goodness.

Sock dies.

His soul comes back to earth with Sam's dad.

but the only body they can put it in to hide from the Devil is a stacked 19 year old blond girl.

(iIm watching a marvellous English show right now (Staring Arthur Dent of all people.) called Boy meets Girl about an accidental body swap, and the dysfunctional hijincks are hilarious, but i wouldn't trust reaper tio be a tenth as clever as even the episodes of Quantum Leap when Sam were a bird and Al kept going on about how good he'd look with the wet lips look.)

I can barely recall the original girl from Lexx.

Besides, this show would be grand if it did start pushing towards the End of days.

It's funny you mention that, this season has kept thrusting nubile young ladies into the show. Sock's "sister", Nina the demoness...

Unusually good episode this week. I did a lot less fast-forwarding than usual. :D

Nice to see the gang being faced with the consequences of making a mistake in who they bonk over the head. Once of these days, Sam is going to have to rely on daddykins to bail him out of jail...what's the point of being the son of Satan if cops still intimidate you?
