I am sure this ahs been coverd and asked before somewhere if not here but I am asking it now in present day. Which relationship did you enjoy or support more

Deanna Troi & William Riker
or
Deanna Troi & Worf

or purhaps you liked neither reelationship and would of hooked her up with another TNG character?

discuss.

Her relationship with Riker was the only one that had history, and seemed the most realistic to me. Worf was just that thing where neither one was seeing anyone, and they decided to try it out to see if it could go anywhere. It didn't.

People do have relatiosnships with people they never met before and they last. I think what you were getting at was the Riker-Troi thing was great because they had known each othe rin the past and that romantic preseance was carried onto the enterprise and they explored it this time. the acse with Worf & troi is, this was the frist they ever met.

I do feel that Worf loved her though even while she was with Riker. i liked the episode where Picard is in the furture and Riker and Worf don't speak because Deanna is dead and her death caused the end to their friendship.

Sorry...her and Worf....that was just weird.

Worf and Dax made perfect sense.

Worf and Deanna made no sense. Worf himself said he avoided relationships on the Enterprise because human women are to fragile for him. Which, I guess, means Troi must be a minx in bed.

I liked the Troi and Riker relationship, but I think the Troi/Worf relationship actually helped the Troi/Riker dynamic. I liked how Deanna's relationship with Worf shook Riker out of his comfort zone of thinking of Deanna as his Imzadi, and I think it added something to both Troi and Worf's characters to see them each pursuing an attraction to somebody so very culturally different. It was a cool, open minded sort of pairing, but I think it ultimately made sense that it fizzled out.

I agree, not all relationships need to have history. After all, Troi and Riker were new at one point. Perhaps I was unclear. I just felt that to me, Troi and Worf didn't feel right. I seemed to take it as they were two good friends who tried to experiment to see if a relationship could work. I have done this before in my own single days, so I guess I could relate. I do like to think that this did help to shake Riker out of his complacency about his relationship with Troi. That, and their experiences in Insurrection.

I'm proud of myself. I mentioned Troi's experiences in Insurrection, without mentioning her "firm breasts."

damn.

hahaha. And I do agree that the Worf-Troi relationship wasan't meant to be, but i do prefer it over the Riker-Troi relationship. Will and Deanna's relationship was like being smottherd with a pillow.

The Riker-Troi thing semed like background music. I just didn't notice it.

I really, really liked Worf-Troi relationship. They were so unexpectedly good together. I was sorry it didn't work out, but I can't say I was upset.

there's a little fangirl inside my head and she is wondering where the worf/riker option is.
out of the three available options, i have to hope that she would end up with riker. worf would totally break her anyway.

You're deductive reasoning is flawless and unquestionable.

I really didn't enjoy either relationship very much. Riker was the ladies man of TNG, yet he gets to come back to Deanna just cause he got a cosmological libido boost from the Ba'ku planet? Worf and Deanna was fun to think about, but in practice it felt artificial.

looks like Riker-Troi is the more preferable choice.
boooo :)

Deanna and Worf were more entertaining. They were opposites which made it all the more interesting and we got to see a different sid eto worf. It was amusing at times.
