Really weird Continuity error. HUGE SPOILERS!

This is just another blatant exampe of JJ screwing canon! And now he's not even content to screw with Prime Trek canon, now he has to screw around with NuTrek canon as well! Is nothing sacred to this man? Damn you, JJ, DAMN YOUUUUUUU!!

I wonder if Kirk had sex with her, since she's such a worshipper of heroes... but I think he was too much the modern man for her taste. Irony.

Given how Spock Prime's ears changed shape between each and every film from 1979 until 1991 and then looked different again in "Unification(TNG)" I'd say his hair color in the new film is a pretty minor nit.

Spock dyed his hair or something. He is, after all, 158 or 159 years old by this point, and half-human to boot. It's a wonder he doesn't look a lot older and worse.

btw NuSpock's hair is quite.. plasticy looking at times. Is it all real?

Bret Michaels would have a harder time getting a 40-something groupie to sleep with him than Khan had getting Marla to fall for his crap. She was remarkably stupid for a trained Starfleet officer and historian serving on the flagship of the Federation.

Dude, he was an actual historical person. That was all she needed.

Would you sleep with Lincoln? I bet you would, even if wanted you to go the theatre with him after the rumpy pumpy.

Only if I got to hit on Major Rathbone's date to the play.

Abe pointing out people in the audience he didn't like and constantly sending handheld Morse messages during the performance would have been SO not cool.

We could keep playing this "would dumbass Marla have slept with *insert random historical person*?". Bonus points if it's a genocidal maniac! My guess is, we could answer each one with "totally!".

Moronic groupies tend to be casted a lot less nowadays, or guys like Loki would have a legion of in-universe fangirls. Imagine a story-line centred around that.

The cold on Delta Vega damaged the proteins in Vulcan hair that create pigment, leading to the grey hair we saw in 2009. Now, on New Vulcan, that cold is no longer an issue, and the proteins have been able to restore the normal pigmentation and make the hair darker again.

Thing is Spock Prime looked the same when he was still in the Picard era and on Romulus in 2387. The mind meld flashback shot of him speaking with Romulan leaders about the supernova crisis shows the same hair color that he would sport after he was thrown back in time into the altered history.

A fun little theory, but it doesn't jibe with Nimoy's appearance when his character was still in the original 24th century.

Not content with having control of Star Trek and Star Wars, JJ Abrams wants to have control of every Spock from every universe, too! :P

Nimoy himself is dyeing his hair these days but wasn't four years ago. So with Spock Prime, art imitates life.

Now that I think about it... maybe Spock Prime started dyeing his hair because towards the end of ST09 Spock thought he was Sarek - he didn't want Spock to keep being confused.

Spock dyed his hair so he could pick up human chicks. With the lack of Vulcan females they have to repopulate the species with hybrids so Spock has to look more attractive to the ladies.
