Really the Kelvin? (Intel Website)

Looks great! As for the oddly angled saucer and such, it seems to be mostly just the weird angle of the ship. I just rotated my screen a bit, and most of the distortion went away.

I like it overall, it looks like it might have been influenced by Jeffries early concept skeches, the one that some fans have dubbed the 'declaration' class, except it has just one nacelle below instead of two? On a side note, the 'new' deflector dishes on these ships look like they'd be something we'd see on 'Phase II' era ships, being that they seem to combine the TOS dish w/ the blue glow of the TMP era ships.

That ship really is fugly. Sorry, in all my bitching about the nacelle and the registry, I seemed to have ignored how downright fugly it is.

I may disagree with you on the Kelvin's registry (I think the leading 0 has precedent), but I do find your avatar with Count Count hilarious.

Actually, there is no precedent for the leading zero. All registry numbers higher than two digits (thus eliminating NX-01) have never started with zero. In fact the USS Grissom had three digits (NCC-638) so the zero in Kelvin's registry is unnecesary.

As for my avatar, credit for that goes to Jackson Roykirk :techman:

I tried to talk my wife into naming our firstborn '001'. Does that count?

What is wrong with it exactly? It fits perfectly inline with what we have seen in previous Trek, and it looks like it came from something in TOS. So I guess you just do not like the fact that it has one Nacelle or something?
