Albeit these are not fan-films per se, they are send-ups of genre films, I thought they were interesting/charming in a Super 8 fashion, having been made by teens in the era of that film. And relevant in the aftermath of Yorktown. The editing/sound gets incredibly rough in places. In fact, in the commentary for Terrific Man it's stated that in one scene the mic plug cam out and no one would come back to loop their lines. The more things change...
