"Real-life" technobabble

Who doesn't love a bit of gibberish, whether of a technical nature or otherwise?

It's fun to encounter a gaggle of engineers talking in the hall at work. We make various avionics and electronic warfare equipment. The radar, IR and RF jargon can be somewhat Trekkish to hear.

Heh. I *am* an engineer. We had one of our new-hires in a recent meeting with our customer. I thought he was going to drown in all the TLAs* and technical jargon!

* - Three Letter Acronyms

Oh, and, the most fun I ever had (he said sarcastically) was editing several hours of video of a lecture about the history of radar and radar countermeasures. One more Kramer Rao Bound (or whateverhefuckitwas) and I'll scream.

"The USG PMO is coming for a CDR for the CIED project. Let's have our PM get the LRIP proposal ready too."

Ever readin in "Blind Man's Bluff" what IIRC the famous U.S. attack sub commander Whitey Mack was labeled by one of his crew?

NOMFWIC!
