To everyone here:

You should go on Youtube and search for Star Trek!

They have bloopers, TV interviews, rare footage, allsorts.

They have a clip of the bridge they got at the end of ST4. It looks very 'plasticcy' under normal lights!

I thought it was one of the best bridges they ever had!

What does everyone else think?

What? There's something called YouTube? And you can do a search on Star Trek there? I never would have thought to try that. :brickwall:

Cheapjack: You might want to give us screencaps or a link to each SPECIFIC youtube item you're telling us about.

Sorry, but I've been back on the site and I can't seem to find the ST4 items. Whether it's the search engine, or whether the clips get taken off after a certain time, I don't know.

Generally, what does everyone think of the ST4 bridge?

It's a pity we never saw it again. They put it outside at Paramount and it got rained on. They used the damaged version in TNG episode 'The Battle'.

It's good to know that the Stargazer bridge survived the Ferengi attack, and was damaged only because Vigo forgot to turn off the bathtub faucet.

I thought it looked incredible at the time.

Very pre-nineties in the mid eighties.

Mike Okuda's first effort.

But it was TMP bridge redressed. More obvious now.
