Rat Boy's Chaos Theory

Just finished reading it. Kick ass story. Can't wait for the next installment. Just like his Yorktown series, halfway thru I'm thinking "Holy Crap, I can't believe Rat boy did this to this character. Never saw it coming." Which prompts me to read on.

Any word on the next installment?

Also, if I had any negative thoughts on the book, I didn't really get into the secondary characters, i.e. the doc, security officer, counselor, and I thought the Helmsman was a Tom Paris re-tread. Even though I thought this, I thought the book rocked.

I did thoroughly enjoy, Stanley, Henderson, Brody, Savok, and the Romulan folks, luckily they were basically the primary characters.

Keep up the good work.

You'd think with my business degree I'd be better with marketing. It just so happens that I'm finishing up the last few chapters on what's tentatively titled "Chaos Theory, Part 2." As I mentioned in the Annotations (viewable back in the master thread; if the mods don't mind doing a thread merge, perhaps?) Counselor Arvax is more or less the Morn character. He says a lot "off camera" but never when he's in a scene. The characters of Dr. Senara and Lieutenant Tenari definitely get fleshed out more in the second story, there's only so much space I could play with over the course of the first. And I can see your point about Vasquez; off the bat he's very much the stereotypical ace pilot, but he'll definitely evolve into something else as the series progresses.

And thanks for your praise and interest in Venture.
