Rare Photos: December 2010

Dashing through the stars, in a one-warp-core starship...

:p

It's December of 2010, folks. As you may have seen in my signature, this past November 27th marked TrekCore's 5th anniversary. It's astonishing to think I've been involved with such since the get-go. You might recall how TrekCore was founded of the ashes of TrekPulse; since then we've surpassed what TrekPulse achieved by a warp factor of 10, to say the least, and I couldn't be prouder to have played my part. :)

As is appropriate during this month, you'll all be getting a special extra present in the form of the miniature bonus edition I call "stocking stuffers" -- but not until mid-month when I do 'Ultimately Human' as well! :p Ain't I an evil tease?

For the mean time, here's the main course!

My Favorites:
1st Row, Left: Our Alien friend from Rura Penthe with the... non-standard placed genitals... enjoys a morning coffee break on set.

4th Row, Left: One of the worst examples of piss-poor photoshopping I've ever seen... this image was utilized on the Kellogg's cereal boxes recently. Fascinating to see...

5th Row, Left: Dashing shot of Captain Picard prepping for assault in First Contact.

6th Row, Center: Jeri Ryan and Ethan Phillips share a hug and a moment on set between takes during the 4th season.

Thanks for posting these!

My faves are the TWOK Spock from the bottom row and the Khan pic too, although I wish I hadn't just seen that image right before turning in for the night.

I wouldn't normally admit it.

But Captain Archer looks pretty cool in that pic. If he had been like that the whole series, looking cool, saying very little, generally being badass, enterprise could've been decent!

 Took the words right out of my mouth! Archer looks cool and hot in that shot!

My other favourite is the shot of Scotty/Jimmy. Excellent photo that could have been taken last week, it has a real contemporary feel to it.

I always look forward to you posting your photos, Frontier. :)

Great shots, Frontier! :) Yeah, I have to agree that the one of Archer really captures a good impression of him. Feels a lot like Season 3 or 4.

Btw, that one of "Data Q"... is that a photo edit, or some "what-if" tryout for DeLancie as Data?

^ It still creeps me out.

Thanks, Frontier, I'll be looking forward to the stocking stuffers!

That transporter room shot from Trek XI is great. I enjoyed the film but it was difficult to see what the sets actually looked like, due to shaky-cam, lens flares and close-ups.

Thanks, Frontier! Always a pleasure to see photos of Jimmy Doohan. I also liked Pike from ST09, Spock from TSFS and filming_tsfs.

Great set of photos, Frontier! Thank you!

My absolute favorite would have to be Spock, but Captains Picard and Archer are bringing up the rear quite nicely. And the one with Scotty is simply lovely.

Looking forward to the stocking stuffers December special. ;)

And, of course, happy anniversary to everyone at TrekCore!

That one is from Season 4's "Storm Front I." I agree, a great shot of Acher/Bakula.

Happy anniversary, Frontier! I love these collections.

Thanks for the photos. The trinity from the original series - is that from Requiem for Methuselah?

Doug

I like the one with Neelix and Seven, especially since Neelix, who is always smiling, has a stern face, and Seven who is always emotionless is grinning.

Third row down,right,..Khan getting his just deserved, revenge is best served cold back at him, job well done by James T kirk and his crew and the uss Enterpise 1701 A,..by far by favourite,..great photos. and happy anniversary everyone at teckCore.

I really like all of them, but the one that like the most is one of Kirk and Spock from 2009 J.J. Abrams's STAR TREK!!! Thanks again, for posting them, and I'm looking forward to next month addtions.:)

Another awesome, awesome set of pictures, man. Thanks as always.
