Rank the Pixar movies

Fleet Captain
Finally got around to seeing Up and really loved it. Now that we have an even amount of Pixar films (ten to be exact) how would they all rank against each other?

Here's my list
1. Toy Story
2. The Incredibles
3. WALL-E
4. Toy Story 2
5. Up
6. Finding Nemo
7. Ratatouille
8. Monsters, Inc.
9. A Bug's Life
10. Cars

1. The Incredibles
2. WALL-E
3. Up
4. Toy Story
5. Ratatouille
6. Finding Nemo
7. Toy Story 2
8. Monsters, Inc.
9. A Bug's Life
10. Cars

I haven't seen all of them yet. This is how I guess I'd rank the ones I've seen:

1. Wall-E
2. Monsters Inc.
3. The Incredibles
4. Ratatouille
5. Finding Nemo
6. Toy Story 1 and 2
8. A Bug's Life

I've never seen Cars because what I saw of it didn't really appeal to me. I'm not really sure about Up, to be honest. But I might check it out at some stage.

I haven't seen Up yet, but they are something like this at the moment:

1. Wall-E
2. The Incredibles
3. Finding Nemo
4. Toy Story
5. Ratatouille
6. Monsters Inc.
7. Toy Story 2
8. Cars
9. A Bug's Life

Wall-E and The Incredibles are definately at the top, (love them!), the next five are all very similar in quality, (love them too!), then it dips a bit for Cars, and then again for A Bug's Life. I do enjoy them all though, Pixar really know how to concentrate on making a good film that can be entertaining for adults and children alike.

1. Toy Story 2
2. Toy Story
3. Finding Nemo
4. The Incredibles
5. Wall-E
6. Cars
7. A Bug's Life

Hmm. Roughly:

1 (Tie). Up & Ratatouille
2. Toy Story 2
3. The Incredibles
4. Toy Story
5. Finding Nemo
6. Monsters, Inc.
7. A Bug's Life

(Bit of a gap)

8. Wall-E
9. Cars

Yes, I thought Wall-E was kind of lame.

1. The Incredibles
2. WALL-E
3. Ratatouille
4. Up
5. Monsters, Inc.
6. A Bug's Life
7. Toy Story 2
8. Toy Story
9. Finding Nemo
10. Cars

That being said, I love all of the Pixar movies all the way down to Cars. I know some people don't like it as much as the rest, and I would have expected myself to be one of them considering I'm not much of a car person, but I love every bit of it.

1. Monsters, Inc.
2. Wall-E
3. Toy Story 2
4. Toy Story
5. A Bug's Life
6. Finding Nemo
7. The Incredibles
8. Cars

1. Incredibles 2. Nemo 3. Monsters Inc 4. Wall-E 5. Up 6. Bug's Life 7. Ratatouille 8/9/10. Cars Toy Story 1 2 (I don't like these three).

First tier: WALL-E

Second tier: Toy Story 1 & 2, Finding Nemo

Third Tier: Up, The Incredibles, Monster's Inc., Cars.

Haven't seen the other two. I have found all to be at the least very good and at the best incandescent films.

Monsters, Inc.
Up
Toy Story 2
Wall*E
The Incredibles
Ratatouille
Toy Story
A Bug's Life
Finding Nemo

I haven't sat through Cars, every time I try to watch it I turn it off when I hear Owen Wilson's voice.

The great:

1. The Incredibles
2. WALL-E
3. Toy Story 2
4. Up

The very, very good:

5. Toy Story
6. Ratatouille
7. Finding Nemo
8. Monsters Inc.

Haven't seen:

A Bug's Life
Cars

1. Monsters Inc. - I'm biased towards what's more emotionally involving to me, and this is the one I found the most moving because of the relationship between Sully and Boo. And it had a perfect balance of sentimentality and great comedy too because Billy Crystal was so funny in it.
2. Toy Story 2 - An improvement of Toy Story, which is an amazing accomplishment in and of itself since I thought Toy Story was pretty much perfect.
3. Toy Story
4. A Bug's Life

That's about all I've liked from Pixar. I don't know if it's just because I turned 20 at the time, but "Finding Nemo" was the point when I stopped caring. In "Finding Nemo", "The Incredibles", and "Ratatouille" I just started caring less and less about the characters and finding the stories less and less interesting.

I thought all the characters in "Finding Nemo" were annoying, and I was shocked when everyone said "The Incredibles" was great for adults and kids because all I saw when I watched that movie was way too many action/chase/fighting sequences and not nearly as much heart as the early Pixar movies or even Brad Bird's own "The Iron Giant".

The animated action sequences didn't impress me, because I knew I was just watching characters made on a computer. I know they were a family who supposedly loved each other, but that didn't come through to me. As for "Ratatouille", well...I just couldn't bring myself to care about a rat, no matter how sweet they tried to make him.

I haven't seen any Pixar movies since those three (and I skipped "Cars") as I liked each one less than the one before from 2003, and they each made me less interested in Pixar movies. They got me doubting that I'll ever be able to enjoy a Pixar movie again, but the rave reviews "Up" is getting tempts me to give them another chance.

My 3 yr old watches this stuff over and over-and these are the ones I can still stand to see. Wall-E is the only one I put on voluntarily these days-what a beautiful movie!

The Incredibles is firmly number one and WALL-E firmly two, but otherwise there's not a lot of daylight between 3 and 10. Another day, and they could be arranged differently.

1. The Incredibles
2. WALL-E
3. Toy Story
4. Up
5. Finding Nemo
6. Ratatouille
7. Monsters, Inc.
8. Toy Story 2
9. Cars
10. A Bug's Life
