Looking at my list, I'm surprised at how highly NEM (which I hate) ends up ranked – I think because for all its flaws (and there are many), it's at least decently paced and maintains a consistent level of interest throughout, with only a few "WTF?" moments (the dune buggy chase being one of the biggest). All the films ranked under it are there not because NEM is all that great but because they're either incredibly boring (TMP, INS), wildly uneven in quality (GEN, TFF), poorly plotted (GEN, TMP, TFF, INS), full of moronic humor (INS, TFF), or all of the above.

To be honest, I've never been able to watch all of "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier". I should watch it again someday. I bet if I did I would probably want to rate it higher. I really hate the last two TNG movies and I can't imagine it being much worse than them.

Also, other than my top three, I think all of the movies are seriously flawed and not much better than mediocre. That's why those three are the only ones I own...they're the only ones I enjoy from start to finish and think don't have any serious story or character mishandling that really annoys me.
