Random Thoughts; All things Trek

did anybody else use the tops of these to supplement their micromachine trek ships (usually as klingons or romulans, depending on which way you decided was forward) when they were a kid?

Since this is a place for randomness: I have long thought that I was the only Trek fan who believed that the timeline was altered by First Contact, leading to an early starship named Enterprise with a saucer section. For decades, I've always believed that the saucer/secondary hull/nacelles configuration was the result of all of the UFP founders working together. ENT changed that with the NX-01. I feel a bit more justified in my belief that in the original timeline, the ship (called Challenger or Endeavour in my head) would have been much different and her adventures also very different.

^ It totally makes sense. Zefram Cochrane's entire ground crew and presumably his original flight crew as well were wiped out by the Borg attack. You can't tell me that wouldn't have scrambled the timeline a little.

Absolutely! Nowhere near as damaging as Riker and Troi telling Cochrane way too much. They're almost as much out of character as Captain Jean-Luc Ahab.
