Race Fans- Is Jeremy Mayfield done NOW?

So, what do you think? Stick a fork in him? Is Mayfield as done as Max Moseley? Would anyone sponsor him again? And, what a coincidence- How does a man with such a reputation for greatness as Roger Penske manage to hire TWO such troubled men? (Al Unser Jr has had his problems as well)

I'm not a huge NASCAR fan, but he's done. Especially after testing positive again under scrutiny.

One would hope he's done. Nascar should focus on its many positives--like Mark Martin.

Well done, I never cared for him to begin with.

At this point, it really doesn't matter whether Mayfield is innocent or guilty. He's acted like a whiny child caught with his hand in the cookie jar for two months, and is being incredibly evasive about being tested by proper labs. He's burned pretty much all of his bridges, both professionally and with family, and no sponsor is going to touch him with a 39.5 foot pole. He's done.

One would hope he's done. Nascar should focus on its many positives--like Mark Martin.

He does seem to be wheels off from what I've heard about the situation.

He seems to have taken to many pages from Roger Clemmons' book. He's more than done

His racing career is done, but listening to Sirius other callers have called in(and they're not Jeremy Mayfeild fans and have said they have relitives or kids who have AHDH and have been told certain medication can produce false positives for meth/ heroin etc.

But Mayfield shooting off his mouth like he has has only dug the hole deeper.
