R.I.P. Ray Thomas (from the Moody Blues)

Next to Rush and Marillion, the Moodies have been on of my most influential bands.... I've seen them almost as many times as Rush and their music is ageless.. Ray, though seemingly relegated to banging a tamborine and flute solos toward the end of his career with the band, had a profound influence on the direction of the band and he was a consumate professional... Damn this is sad news.

I think that Nights in White Satin is the only Moody Blues Song I currently own though I am pretty sure that I owned a couple of their LP back in my vinyl days.
