I'm sorry the last movie of yours I watched was Mario Brothers. I'll watch Roger Rabbit tomorrow to make up for it.

The last things I saw him in were Neverland, where he once again played Smee in a different version of Peter Pan, and Snow White and the Huntsman, which turned out to be his last role.

Yeah it's really been too long since I watched The Long Good Friday. A sad loss, by all accounts a really lovely bloke, and whilst not young 71 seems too soon. RIP

Was really shocked by this yesterday. Bob was fine a actor, and by all accounts a top bloke in private too. Never heard or read a bad word about him.

For anyone who didn't know, he retired a few years ago after being diagnosed with Parkinsons, so while he hadn't been as well as he might have been, it was a big shock to find he'd died from pneumonia, something which is usually sent to polish you off when everything else has failed.

His movies were a big part of my childhood (I watched a few multiple times on VHS), he will be missed. Apart from Hook and Roger Rabbit, I liked the Mario Brothers movie too, at least back when I watched it as a kid.
