^PLUS IT GIVES US A PLACE TO YELL AND SCREAM WHEN THE FIM FAILS TO MEET ANY/SOME/ALL OF OUR EXPECTATIONS.

I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU, BUT I'M HOPING TO BE SCREAMING FOR JOY BECAUSE IT MET ALL OR MOST OF MINE!!!!!!

Just now watching "The Savage Curtain" for the first time in probably 20 years.

They all beamed down...except...

"THE WEAPONS!"

ALL HAIL LANDRU!!!!! THE MOVIE WILL SUCK BECAUSE THERE WAS DIRT IN THE SHUTTLECRAFT!!! AND NO GARY MITCHELL!! WTF!

In the early episodes, Spock did quite a bit of shouting on the bridge.

"PHASER BEAMS... FULL INTENSITY!"

As if no one could hear him. As if he was on some kind of clipper ship on the ocean and the wind was in his face.

And the best part was, everyone else was speaking at a normal level.

He chilled out over time, but since this is a prequel, do we want to see Spock shouting all the time?

I think I do.

I've always found that really funny, but I'm thankful it didn't extend beyond the 2nd pilot.

SPOCK SHOUTED BEYOND THE SECOND PILOT..
OFF AND ON THROUGH THE FIRST SEASON..

AND I GUESS KNOWN WE KNOW THE THIRD SEASON..

i guess he thought humans with the smaller ears needed to hear him shout
;)

THE PLANTS!
