In the early episodes, Spock did quite a bit of shouting on the bridge.

"PHASER BEAMS... FULL INTENSITY!"

As if no one could hear him. As if he was on some kind of clipper ship on the ocean and the wind was in his face.

And the best part was, everyone else was speaking at a normal level.

He chilled out over time, but since this is a prequel, do we want to see Spock shouting all the time?

I think I do.

I WAS WONDERING WHAT THIS THRED WAS ABOUT. OBVIOUSLY, THE MEANIG HAS CHANGED A LOT.

EXCEpT FOR THE SHOUTING!!!!!!!!!! THERE STILL SEEMS TO BE A LOT OF THAT CRAZINES GOIN ON

ANYWAY CAN SOMEONE TELL ME IN WHAT EPISODES SPOCK YELLS REALLY LOUD????? THANK YOOOOOOU!!!

I ACTUALLY HAD A FUNNY THOUGHT THAT IS RELATED TO THIS THREAD (imagine....) SO, VULCANS HAVE REALLY GOOD HEARING, RIGHT? GOTTA BE THE EARS. ANYWAY, MAYBE THIS IS WHY THEY TEND TO MUTTER - TO THEM IT SOUNDS NORMAL. BUT SO THEN, HUMANS SPEAKING AT NORMAL LEVELS WOULD SOUND QUITE LOUD TO THEM, THEORETICALLY. SO PERHAPS SPOCK WAS SHOUTING IN AN ATTEMPT TO MATCH THE RELATIVE VOLUME OF HIS COMPANIONS, LATER REALISING THAT THIS WAS UNNECESSARY.
OR, PERHAPS IT WAS BECAUSE HE WAS OFTEN FACING AWAY FROM KIRK WHILE SPEAKING, LOOKING INTO HIS VIEWFINDER THINGIE.

but i think someone should change the title of this insanely long thread to SHOUT SHOUT LET IT ALL OUT.
