And get it out of Bad Reboots hands, please.......

Bad robot are not the problem. They manage to pump out the mission impossible series with enough regularity and manage to make what is now and old series of films get seemingly better with every iteration.

While hugely disappointing to read, I can't say I blame the man, or any of them. Paramount is just an epic screw up. The Kelvin cast were a tight knit group, first they lost Anton Yelchin and then Paramount refused to honor their contract with Pine and that's when it really went in the toilet bowl. Why would any actor want to put up with that.

It's unfortunate to me that their last film, if it does indeed end up being the last film, will have ended with a whimper and not a bang. Not fond of STB at all. Had a few highlights, but the rest was blah.

I tend to think of the M:I films as being apart from Bad Robot, because Tom Cruise is the boss of those films. Bad Robot these days more or less serves to give Cruise the resources he needs to make these films financially with Paramount. None of the Bad Robot writers have been used since GHOST PROTOCOL.
