Quinto is out of the closet

Counting down until:

1) Unfocused, nonsensical Nerd RAGE!

2) The Takei Effect (Since [actor] is gay, then [character] must be gay too.)

There'll be a tidal wave of slash fic now, because in suethor minds, the actor's sexuality totes has to do with the characters he plays.... especially if he's hot.

I already thought he was gay. He's too stylish to be straight. :D

Kidding aside, though, good for him that he feels comfortable with coming out. More power to you, Zach. Makes no difference to me.

Fine by me. Too damn sleepy to express myself clearly anywho. Surprised as hell that Newtype Alpha has actually managed to "translate" any of my sleep-deprived ramblings and ill-expressed notions into something he can actually understand. He's either very, very perceptive or a complete loon. My ego demands I embrace the former, and deny the latter.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
While he's busy translating, could he please finish that bit of fiction ("Genesis") he was working on a few years ago, and left unfinished. Left me hanging......It really is a good piece.

This is all disappointing. I don't see a big need to see the next movie in theaters or buy the DVD.

That's a weird reaction. Just because the actor is gay there won't be any effect on the actual character he plays.

^ If quinto is gay, then there is no possibility of a Spock/Uhura sex scene.

If there is no Spock/Uhura sex scene, then there is a no possibility of seeing Zoe Saldana naked.

If there is no possibility of seeing Zoe Saldana naked, then there is no big need to see the movie in theatres or buy the DVD.

Simple pervert logic.

Personally I want to see how "Deep Roy" got his name...if ya know what I mean!!
Sorry to disappoint but...his given name is Gordeep Roy and he is of Indian (not to be confused with Native American) descent.

Well.................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................fuck.

After noticing this, I'm not surprised.

An obvious 'phobe. You fit right in with the majority of Star Trek fans. Star Trek is homophobic. Always has been.

Homophobia and closeted sexuality are closely related. When I was a kid a lot of my trekkie friends were closeted. Dressing up in trek gear was a substitute for drag. Nowadays, if I want to wear a dress, by god I don't have to be a Romulan to do it. Hoorah!

For that matter, we rarely got to see a Romulan in a dress anyway. Convention costume idea, perhaps?

Actually, in the TOS era we got to see them often enough:

Kaitlin Darr

Commander Slinky

Best. Uniform. Ever.

You know you're in for an enjoyable tour when your commanding officer was a cover girl for Praetor's Quarterly.:rommie:
