I started weightlifting 11 years ago and the last few years added high intensity interval outdoor training to it so for a 45 year old I am in good shape, I train with a group of friends, most of them are between 29-45 and last week we had a guest, a 22 year old who thought he could keep up with us old guys, he went down six times, feeling sick, weak and miserable..
Well, between my military career and now my civilian one, I've spent 35 years carrying a 15/20 pound gun belt around my waist. I work out, but my hips, lower back and knees have taken a beating. I'm sure there's probably a hip replacement somewhere in my (hopefully) distant future.

I actually talked to Kathy in a bar thread for the first time, thought she was a biker.. mistook the Revd a little, thought it was revd as in revving that bike. And T'Banzai was konking people over the head with empty ale bottles.. good time!
