Question: Why is this forum so darn good?!?!

The thread said itself all along.

Since of my arrival, I've had no idea what of this forum is all about. So I decided to take a good look at this forum, it has already blew my mind away. I like the way you're writing here, it's very, very creative. Most of all, lots of good discussion, share of good and sad discussion. It has pulling me in and so far I like it.

So I'm going to be around for many years to comes.

Get used to this response Supreme Admiral. The BBS has been around for a long time, and any time anyone says how they like something here there'll be someone else to point out how great it was several years ago.

I like it now too - no cliques, lots of humour and some good serious discussions.

Seriously, I mostly like it because of the people here, which results in interesting things to talk about. I like that it's science-fiction related because that draws people with similar interests, even though I haven't posted in a Trek-forum in years. Mostly it's just that I've been here for so long, I can't leave... so I have to at least envision this place as being good, or I'll go crazy. Er.

I mentioned in another thread about a message board I had been to (but refuse to post on) where new members get ripped a new one all the time by the veterans and the mods look the other way. But on the other hand, if a mod gets a stick up his/her ass regarding a poster over anything, no matter how insignificant, they'll suspend or ban you with no rhyme or reason.

I don't think you'll have to be worried about that, because I'm very quiet guy around here. Just to looking a very, very interesting threads to talking about in our times of today. I'm not like those newbies who are trying to getting themselves into the troubles that can leads banning, so don't worry about me.

They don't let us do that anymore.

Its a combination of the personality of the posters and the moderating staff. The ModSquad is fairly responsive here, they aren't High And Mighty like RPG.net or utterly gonzo crazy freaks like on RenNext () they are regular posters.

Also, we keep most of the crapping crapity crap off this forum and contain it in the Lounges and The Cess- I mean Neutral-Zone.
