Question regarding Vanguard (please keep spoiler-free)

Awww, don't be so hard on yourself! While I did find the pace a little bit slower (it was a fair bit longer), I felt this book provided a real close connection with many of the main characters. I especially liked the diplomatic quandaries of Jetaien, the Klingons, & Tholians and all the politicking involved.

I'm lucky if I can get that feeling once in about every 5 books I read so I just wanted you to take that as a compliment!
Thanks, Elemental, that was a crucial scene in the book, and I'm glad to hear that, in your case, it had precisely the intended effect.

I've yet to receive book 3, but I've already heard that book 4 is in development by Ward and Dilmore.

From what I gathered, the book is yet unnamed and in an early stage (planned for a 2009 release?). Does this mean that book 3 concludes the main plotline? I find it hard to imagine otherwise, as the next book should have been already in a more "advanced" stage.

Can anyone shed some light on this without spoiling the plot?

thanks in advance :bolian:

Well, I just finished the book today, and what can I say but WOW :bolian:
This is fast becoming my favorite TrekLit series, equaling DS9R! Can't wait for book 9...
(in the meantime, I'll be starting Titan: Taking Wing and Crucible:Spock tonight :rommie:)

Book 9? Was that a typo or are you just hoping that the series will make it that far?
