Last weekend I bought a new gaming laptop, a Lenovo LOQ series. First time installing it charged to a 100%. Then I started playing STO and needed to charge again. Fine. Thing is, I only charged to 98%. I gave it 90 minutes of rest on standby but it didn't go to 100, it stayed at 98%. I haven't had a need to charge it since, since I haven't used it that much.
Is my new battery already fucked? I googled it and it does appear that in order to protect the battery, modern laptops don't charge till 100 anymore?
