Well that's why I mentioned definitions. I was using the term as in gay=happy, joyful and not specifically sexuality.

I saw something far more recently were the annoying Christian went to the toilet and everyone else in the dinner hid after throwing a wad of clothes from the lost and found to hold their places, to fake the Rapture.

Yes it is!!! I saw that when I was a kid and I was terrified. It was on during the day and I was home alone and it made me feel so very awful.

The people all disappear wearing only their clothes and some white powder and all the animals go mad and vicious!

It's really rough dealing with all the dictionary definition changes that occur during one's lifetime. Especially if a word used when as a kid is later described as archaic. But my parents were already in their 40s when I came along.

Edit: As an example of changing definitions, I used to collect Hardy Boys mystery books, and during the 60s some of the older books still had 1930s and 1940s copyrights. In one of those early books, bad guys were flooding a room the boys were trapped in with some sort of knockout gas. The younger brother actually said, "Frank, I feel queer." That meant something different by the 60s.
