Question for you concerning children

^I completely disagree. I've always found little girls of 7-8 to be incredibly bitchy, and little boys of all ages much easier to deal with (from a teacher's perspective).

I can see that, and being in a large group of girls that age might drive me crazy, but on their own they seem sweet enough, especially around 6 years old.

Honestly I don't really like boys of any age all that much. The way they play, talk, act just rubs me the wrong way somehow. I don't like being around them.

Babies.<3 I'm expecting a new nephew in the upcoming week actually... and I am so excited to finally be able to smooch his cheeks.

Why, Iguana, all four, erm, two, two of them.

Yes, two. Both of them.

Or something.

I don't know to describe it. Children just seem to be drawn to me, even the really shy ones. It's a "talent" that I've always had, so I've loved children for a very long time. I've done some childcare in the past and have worked in schools and nurseries. But I gotta say that 2-5 is my favourite age group. Children that age are easy to talk to, they don't judge and they can provide hours of good fun. And a lot of havoc! And helluva lot of back aches! Any older than five, that's where I start to lose my confidence, which it is shame. My mum's boyfriend's nephews are 9 and 11 (I think) and they are lovely boys. But I just can't seem to talk to them because I don't want to be too patronising or treat them like they're toddlers. Teenagers, on the other hand, I'm genuinely terrified of them. So many bad memories. *shudder*

I think 2 to 5 might be my favourite age group as well. I love watching the personalities starting to poke through, and I really enjoy watching the process of learning. I start to feel uncomfortable after those ages as well SecretlyMrsKirk! (But apparently tweens and young teens like to talk to me? My friends kids seem to like that I can give mom-style advice without actually being Mom? I find it a little un-nerving...I guess I just have to give good advice!)
