what's the minimum age to be able to smoke in Texas?

and what's the minimum age for driving whilst I'm at it?

18 to smoke, although the State Senate has been trying to raise it to 19.

Driving is 16, but you can apply for a "hardship license" at 15.

I would have thought you can drive whatever you want at any age you want on private land like a farm, that is certainly the case here in the UK.

I think it's fair enough, if it's your land it' none of the government's business IMO. You aren't putting anybody but yourself at risk.

I'd think there would still be negligence issues for the landowners who gave permission were a child to be injured though.
