I was curious about what literary projects, if any, you have scheduled for 2009? You are quickly becoming my favorite star trek author. I'm currently reading Ex Machina for the second time. It is such an incredible work of fiction, imo. I think what I like most about all your fiction is the amount of scientific detail you put into your stories. It adds a texture and richness to the stories that really blows me away.
Planning to revisit the original series? or expand into your own original fiction? Personally, I would love to see you handle a novelization of the upcoming Star Trek feature. But I'm sure that's already in the can by now.

well, i can point out he's doing the 5th Titan novel, "Over a Torrent Sea" out in March and IIRC, he's doing/done a story for the MU anthology out in Feb.

Thank you! My upcoming projects are listed on my website, and they include a story in next month's Mirror Universe: Shards and Shadows anthology, plus three things in March: the novel Titan: Over a Torrent Sea, a reprint of the novella The Darkness Drops Again in the Mere Anarchy omnibus collection, and a Voyager-related article in issue 16 of Star Trek Magazine. Beyond that, I'm in the outline phase on another Trek novel that I can't talk about yet.

Meanwhile, I'm working on some original fiction, including a novelette I just finished and a spec novel I just started, but I haven't sold anything yet. And with the publishing industry taking a hit in the current economic mess, I'm not holding my breath.
