Question about wanting to write

Dean Wesley Smith said:
I wrote Star Trek under seven different names... I’ll give you Dean Wesley Smith and Sandy Schofield. The other five you Trek buffs can figure out if you want to waste time for a trivia contest.

Interesting.

Anyone wanna play? I'll bid J. Noah Kym. And maybe Anonymous? There just aren't that many Treklit writers who are otherwise completely unknown. I suppose it's possible he ghost-wrote for a known writer.

Oh, and D.W. "Prof" Smith. Though that one barely counts as a different name.

At a sufficient level of virtuosity, McIntee is indistinguishable from Magpie. Also, if you need glasses to read and can't find them.

Back in the eighties, I sold a story to AMAZING as "Bryan Gregory Stephenson," mostly as a private joke with my housemates. We invented "Bryan" at a Christmas party one night after maybe too much liquid celebration. The idea was that we would all write stories as "Bryan" and become rich and famous. Alas, Bryan's only other publication was an entry in one of the "Dark and Stormy Night" bad-writing collections.

I swear, it seemed like a good idea at the time . . . .

(And I have a female pseudonym all picked out just in case I ever end up writing romance novels or erotica or whatever.)

I really don't think that the first SCE book was the longest one in the series.

Sorry to be nitpicky, though - yes, that was a damn fine read :)
