Question about VR Photography

I nave a need to get up to speed on VR photography and fast. Does any one out there have any experience doing this? If so what sort of camera do you use? What sort of lens? What software packages? How hard was it for you to master? What else am I missing?

Thanks. I did some further research and I would ahve to agree. I guess my quesiton now is about software. Do I need 1 package for stitching the photos together and one for presentation? What software is suggested?

Thanks for digging that one up. I've been browsing some of those sites. Im hoping to get a first hand account or at least an opinion from someone in the field too.

Photoshop has a panorama wizard that works pretty well. I think the commercial version of Quicktime can do it, too (as well as embed hotspots and such), but I haven't used that one yet.
