Question about The Never Ending Sacrifice

Is The Never Ending Sacrifice completely standalone, or does it continue plot threads from The Soul Key?

I've seen rave reviews for Never Ending Sacrifice and I plan to read it regardless, I'm just trying to decide what order to put my reading list.

No spoilers, please. Thanks

It's a stand alone and has no connection to Soul Key, I think. Set before it....

Not so much set before it as starting before it, and following a separate storyline all the way from season 2 of the show to the end and past The Soul Key. But yeah, not particularly connected beyond a couple of off-hand references. You can read it whenever you want really.

It is connected to A Stitch in Time, and of course a whole lot of television! Also some characters cameo in the Terok Nor books.
