Question about NanoWrimo's site

I'm entering nanowrimo this year. I've started my novel. i've logged into the site... but I'm unable to post what i have so far in the Novel Info bos. From what I can tell, there is a large box there where you can paste what you have, but on both IE and Firefox, I am unable to actually get a cursor to show up there. can you help?

Are you referring to the Word Count Validator?
I don't remember that being there last year, so it might be a new feature, which probably means it's just not working yet. NaNo gets bigger every year, and they always have website issues the first week or so. It actually wouldn't surprise me if they didn't activate this feature until the end of the month when people are trying to verify their word count.

I considered entering in this. But as I started hashing through my novel in my head, I realized that what I had wasn't a novel. Really, it's just an extra extra long letter to Penthouse.
