I don't know if it's a recurring thing but why is McCoy concerned about Kirk's medical condition in the 2nd movie so much? Was there something going on that we are not privvy to yet?
 
He died.

Which is one of the more perplexing health issues.

Of course Doc McCoy is crackin' at what he does, so this was a challenge rather than a problem for him.

The point was that he was still in shock following the death of Pike, and not thinking clearly - hence him accepting a mission of such dubious morality.

Yeah I get that but in the smugglers shuttle they had he kept scanning him till Kirk tells him to back off, I just felt there was some other concern he had apart from that.

Also how did they mange to refuel and load that shuttle in the 10 seconds it took for Kirk to say they were going to the hangar? Though that's just a nitpick so maybe don't worry about it..

This had also been discussed in a previous thread, but I think the conclusions drawn were mostly the same as here.
