Question about AotF and A Singular Destiny

Odo

Hey, I am currently reading the 3rd book of Destiny right now (extraordinary!) and was going to read A Singular Destiny next. However, I heard Articles of the Federation is necessary to understand ASD. Is that true? Also, how necessary are the A Time to Kill/Heal/Peace&War books to read AotF?

Thanks!

None of it is necessary. If you've read Destiny, you're fine to read A Singular Destiny.

While I treated ASD as a spiritual sequel to Articles, they're two very different books that accomplish two totally different things. There are characters common to both, but plenty of new ones as well. Don't sweat it. :)

Thanks, KRAD!

(PS - loved Demons of Air and Darkness and Satisfaction is Not Guaranteed was very funny. Hope you return to DS9 someday!)
