Anyone here got fanart of this or managed to buy or get a copy of the 2 sequel comics of this before they were pulled off the shelves?

btw if you want your own copy hit me up on MSN live or pm me :)

I have a copy of that book, and one of the sequel comics. Hilarious stuff. Wish there had been more.

The one issue I got ahold of is new material not in the graphic novel. Will have to dig it out, but it involved a take-off on The Naked Time and a medical version of Robocop.

Weren't the "sequel" comics the same stories, just broken up into two comic issues rather than one trade paperback? (for marketing purposes, I'd presume)

Or did they have new material?

Star Trekker II
was always intended to have new stories. I have the second issue, which is a take-off on the idol singer found in space-bound anime like Macross (Robotech for us kiddies in the US).

At one Comic Con, I talked to the guys at Antarctic Press about Star Trekker and why it vanished only after the trade and two follow-up issues. Paramount had issued a cease-and-desist order on the manga, and AP quickly stopped publishing any new issues.

Too bad, it's good stuff.

Unfortunately, it's back in San Diego (I live in the Bay Area now).

Strikes me as funny that Star Trekker has an Andorian named Shran and a Vulcan named T'Pall (pretty close to T'Pol) at least a decade before the premiere of Star Trek: Enterprise.
