Helloooooooooooo everyone.

I'm trying to set up my yahoo account through POP3

It won't work and I'm told on the yahoo site that I have to be a premium mail plus user to have access to this service.

However, I just set my mum up with a yahoo email account and ran it through Outlook Express no problem!

She does have a .co.uk account tho and I have a .com email account - could that be the diference?

Any ideas? I've checked all the settings a trillion times

I just keep being asked to verify my password which I'm told is incorrect - but it isn't.

Any ideas?

.co.uk and .com have two totally different terms of service so I am not surprised that the rules are different.

^ really! I didn't request a .com email addy, that's what they gave me!

I've just set up a .co.uk email addy instead and it works fine.

DM, are you based in the UK?

If yahoo gave you a .com e-mail address it's because it thinks you're in the US - and that'll be something to do with how your computer is set up. I can't remember what (helpful, aren't I?) but I know it is possible because I used to have problems with internet systems thinking my computer was in the UK.
