Queen Arachnia's dress "Bride of Chaotica!"

since the "Bride of Chaotica!" thread was last posted to in April 2008 I'll start a new one. I came across this today by total chance. I do not watch the TV show Project Runway but Tim Gunn had contestants pick from genres -- action/adventure, film noir, science fiction, period piece and Western -- to design an outfit last week.
Contestent Nicholas won the challenge with his science fiction wicked white sister queen frozen in eternity.

There is a similarity. I guess that is the sci-fi similarity...

The two necklines are different but yes there are some similarities.

They're totally different - different colours, different materials, different themes (spiderwebs vs snowflake crystals) the white dress has no sleeves...

I think it's very different..although somewhat similar in form. Both of these dresses are black and white. But I think mostly they are different.
