Quad engine

It was a fan made book I picked up at a con many years ago. I doubt it's readily available any more.

Great design! :techman: Reminds me of the old Coral Sea class Battlecruiser:

(from the Starfleet Training Command/Starfleet Academy Ship Recognition Manual)

Sure... reminds me a lot of that, too! except that erifah's design displays some clever creativity, while this one looks like the work of a talentless hack.

Sorry, but it's true...

 Very true. This particular one doesn't seem to take into account the fact that the rear nacelle support pairs take out a huge chunk of the landing bay. :)

Yeah, the schematic is shit, but it did strike me as a design lineage commonality.

The engines are arranegd like a B-17. I'm picturing scotty leaning out a window on the bridge yelling "CLEAR!" before starting number one.

I remember the Coral Sea. There was a TOS dreadnaught with similar treatment too. They mis-drew the Reliant, with each layer of saucer detail pulled back as an aft saucer section. Interesting concept though.
