Of any series. I am ashamed of myself for spending a few minutes watching this crap. I wact my time back.
What were the writers thinking? Just atrocious beyond words.

I may find out who wrote and directed this episode and go after someone singlehanded. Just beyond disgusted. It makes us look stupid for liking star trek.

Hi, James,
I am curious
.
Why did you find reason to be, "...ashamed of myself for spending a few minutes watching this crap."
What was it that was, "Just atrocious beyond words."
How will you do this?...no, don't tell me, but what is it about the episode that makes you say, "I may find out who wrote and directed this episode and go after someone singlehanded."
Where do these feelings come from ? "Just beyond disgusted. It makes us look stupid for liking star trek."

I am not trying to be funny, I am genuinely curious. As you know, these Threads are for discussion and debate. I would like to know more about your Original Post, if you will share.

I'll always think of the last episode of Enterprise as the worst TNG episode.

Amiright?

QPid is far from the worst Trek has to offer...but it's also very far from being good.

QPid is TNG's version of "The Trouble With Tribbles," that is meaningless, harmless fun.

Belushi Lives!!!...no Thread Derail...just Art Imitating Art Imitating Spock in TOS with Uhura Imitating Life...

...or something like that...

I just watched the episode of DS9 where Q showed up and Miles tries to explain the whole Sherwood Forest thing. ;)

You obviously haven't seen "Sub Rosa".

You know QPid was the first episode of Trek I ever watched so I love it. I remember back when TNG was on the air I would always look forward to when the "Robin Hood" episode would be repeated.

Q'pid was, of course, about how Vash brought out the best qualities in Picard, and there are words to that effect, in the final thing. In this regard, I believe the story hit the mark. But the fact that Bev & Troi were kind of pinched off and not allowed to do much at all - mostly because of the director - just didn't work.

Otherwise, though, the show was no different to me than those TOS episodes where cheap costumes and available sets from other shows met up in unremarkable episodes, like the Nazi one and when Kirk went to the Library and ended up in Medieval Times, or "Shore Leave," for that matter. I'm OK with this episode, it's not unwatchable to me. But Robin Hood is kind of scraping the bottom of the barrel, when Q's powers are capable of so much more ...

I find your reaction to be vastly over-the-top. It is far from the worst episode in the series or franchise. It really isn't that bad [and is amusing at points].

To be honest, I think you need to take a step back, take a deep breath and relax.

To me, A Night In Sickbay is the worst of the entire franchise but it doesn't make me ashamed/enraged etc.
